TASTING NOTES
The classic Italian variety Nebbiolo, shows enormous potential in the cool inland New South Wales region of Hilltops around the town of Young . It is warm enough here to get the tannins ripe and build a balanced mid-palate structure. The elevation of around 550 metres above sea level adds the benefits of cool nights for gradual flavour development and that all important aromatic complexity.
The 2007 Nebbiolo shows lovely floral notes and a mix of dark berry fruit flavours and savoury spice with balanced tannins.
